Newham Music is the award-winning music hub for Newham. We are committed to providing high quality music education and opportunities to children and young people in schools throughout the borough and at Newham Music Academy, our after school and Saturday music centre.
As Newham’s music hub, we work with local schools, cultural organisations and community groups to bring exciting musical opportunities to Newham. We are an award-winning hub and have received the Diploma of Merit in 2013, and the Incorporated Society of Musicians Award for Music Technology in Education in 2014, from the National Music Council making us one of the best music hubs in the country.

Funtastic Tales - bringing the story world to life! Our interactive story telling encourages children to live the story through drama games and role-play.
Burlexercise is a medium - high intensity fitness class designed specifically for an all over body workout. Our classes take you on a physical journey, burning calories, toning and tightening all those problem areas from top to bottom. Our focus is to get you fit, in shape and feeling body confident but most importantly we'll make sure you are having fun exercising!
The DH Ensemble
The DH Ensemble is a group of deaf and hearing actors, directors, theatre makers, writers, artists, musicians, dancers and all round lovely people coming together to create professional theatre. We make live performance using a mix of BSL, Spoken English, projection, movement, mime, music and soundscapes. Our show People of the Eye is on at Battersea Arts Centre in October.
Heal and Relax
Heal and Relax takes you on a journey to create a new connection with your body to achieve optimum health and wellbeing. Workshop 1: Boost your GUT for optimum wellbeing : it all starts in the Gut. (Learn how to make your GUT happy with food, herbs and bacterias) Workshop 2: Mental Wellbeing with Herbs and Naturopathy : simple methods to lift up your mood and cope with stress. (the natural approach to learn how to cope with stress and the overload on your nervous system.)
Train Body Brain
Train Body Brain combines fitness, mindfulness and positive mantras to physically and mentally empower women and teenagers. 45 minute classes are energising and fun, focusing on the mood-boosting benefits of exercise and encouraging women and girls towards self-compassion and releasing anxiety.
The Include Choir is all about social inclusion, overcoming communication barriers and having fun. We believe people should be able to come together and do something they love, regardless of perceived disabilities or labels. Parallel London provides the perfect opportunity for everyone to take part in something unifying and uplifting. We can't wait!
